How to recover an accidentally deleted test cases under Test Case Creation?

Lost the test cases under Test case Creation.


Accidentally deleted the test cases or nodes under Test Case Creation.


If you have executed those test cases before the deletion, then those test cases would be present under Test case EAS and Test Case Executions,even if the test cases were accidentally deleted.

Note : You can recover them by following the below steps, if you are NOT sync'ed them under Test case EAS.

Work Around 1-

1) Navigate to <Test Case EAS>.

2) Select the deleted node under corresponding test cycle.

3) Export the assigned test cases present in Test Case EAS to excel.Then re-import them to Test case Creation.

Work Around 2-

1) Navigate to <Test Case Execution> module.

2) Select the deleted node under particular phase.

3) Export the test case executions to excel. Re-import the same to Test case Creation.
