Integrate Zephyr to JIRA through a proxy

Connection to JIRA from Zephyr with a proxy between them either blocks communication or results in connection time out.


The proxy is not configured to allow Zephyr to communicate to JIRA and can not be bypassed.


You can configure Zephyr to work with the proxy. In here you will set the proxy parameters in the start up script. Please make sure you save the original format somewhere else in case you need to quickly revert to the original way.

What you will do is:

1) First navigate from the Registry Editor to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Apache Software Foundataion\Procrun 2.0\ZephyrServer\Parameters\Java. 

2) Click on 'Options'. 

3) In 'Options', you will add the following information about your Proxy.

Note, some of this information you may need and some of it you may not. It will be dependent on how you have your proxy set up:

Dhttp.proxyHost=proxy.example.org - 
Dhttp.proxyPort=8080 - 
Dhttps.proxyHost=proxy.example.org - 
Dhttps.proxyPort=8080 - 
Dhttp.nonProxyHosts=localhost - 
Dhttp.proxyUser=user - 
Dhttp.proxyPassword=userpw - 
Dhttps.proxyUser=user - 
Dhttps.proxyPassword=userpw -


Making these changes should allow Zephyr to be configured to work with your proxy.
